Unlocking the True Value of Time

As I embark on this Wednesday morning, I can't help but reflect on the true essence of time and how it shapes our lives. Time is the most valuable resource we possess, yet it is often overlooked or mismanaged. In a world where distractions and competing priorities abound, it's crucial to understand the power of time and how to leverage it to achieve our goals and make a meaningful impact.

The Importance of Self-Leadership

One of the most important lessons I've learned is the importance of self-leadership. Far too often, we abdicate our power and allow external forces to dictate how we spend our time. But the reality is, we are the masters of our own destiny. By taking ownership of our time and making conscious decisions about how we invest it, we can unlock our true potential and create the life we desire.

As I navigate my daily responsibilities, from my job at Service Experts to my role as a husband and father, I am constantly reminded of the importance of leading myself first. It's not about dictating to others or trying to control their actions, but rather empowering myself and those around me to see the value in their own time and how they choose to spend it.

The Chessboard of Life

I often think of life as a chessboard, with each of us as individual pawns. We are all playing our own game, making decisions based on what we believe is in our best interest. But what if we could find a way to align our moves, to work together towards a common goal? That, to me, is the essence of true leadership – the ability to consolidate the value of time and direct it towards a shared vision.

It's not about speed or rushing through life, but rather about understanding the nuances of time and how to leverage it effectively. History is not made overnight; it's a gradual unfolding of events, a series of small steps that ultimately shape the larger narrative. By embracing this perspective, we can learn to navigate the chessboard of life with a greater sense of purpose and intentionality.

The Power of Sharing Our Truths

One of the ways I strive to make a difference is through the power of sharing my truth. In a world that often discourages open discourse on sensitive topics like religion and politics, I believe it's essential to exercise our freedom of speech and engage in meaningful dialogue. After all, it is through the exchange of ideas and the exploration of our differences that we can truly find common ground and work towards collective solutions.

My blog is a reflection of this belief – a platform where I can share my thoughts, opinions, and experiences, regardless of whether they are universally accepted or not. The goal is not to dictate or control, but to empower others to find their own voice and to recognize the value in their unique perspectives.

Embracing the Struggles of Life

As I continue on this journey, I am acutely aware that life is not always easy or straightforward. There will be moments of struggle, of uncertainty, and even of failure. But rather than view these challenges as setbacks, I choose to see them as opportunities for growth and learning.

I am transparent about the difficulties I face, both in my personal and professional life, because I believe it is important for my children and for others to understand that a fulfilling life is not always a smooth, linear path. Struggles are a natural part of the human experience, and it is through these trials that we develop the resilience and strength to overcome them.

A Call to Action: Owning Your Time, Shaping Your Destiny

At the end of the day, the most powerful thing we can do is to take ownership of our time and use it to create the life we want to live. It's not about perfection or the absence of challenges, but rather about the willingness to adapt, to learn, and to keep moving forward, no matter what obstacles may arise.

I invite you to join me on this journey of self-discovery and community impact. Together, let's explore the depths of time, unlock our true potential, and use our collective power to make a lasting difference in the world. The future is ours to write, and the time is now.

Conclusion: Embracing the Endless Possibilities of Time

As I wrap up this reflection on the power of time, I am reminded of the endless possibilities that lie before us. Each day is a blank canvas, waiting to be filled with our dreams, our passions, and our contributions to the world. By embracing the true value of time and taking ownership of our lives, we can unlock the keys to a more fulfilling, purposeful, and impactful existence.

So let us move forward with a renewed sense of purpose, ready to face the challenges and seize the opportunities that come our way. The journey may not be easy, but it will be worth it – for ourselves, for our families, and for the greater good of our society. The power of time is ours to wield, and the future is ours to shape.

Good morning. Good morning. Good morning.

It is June 5, 2024. It is a beautiful Wednesday morning. I'm off to my first call, which should be a ton of fun.

I've been loving what I'm doing, really excited for how everything's turning out, working out, because at the end of the day, guys, it's your time. If you do not have a plan you are trying to implement. How do you make decisions on a day to day basis? How do you make decisions for yourself, for your family, for your career, for your work? Work? All of that depends on you knowing how you think and where you want to go.

I think one of the most important things we've lost in society is people's ability to lead themselves. Someday, I hope people see me as a leader and they realize I am trying to lead me, myself. And I.

My goal is not to dictate to anyone what to do or how to do it. My goal is to empower everyone to see that their life is theirs to own. Their time is theirs to own.

It's the most valuable thing they'll ever own, and they already own it. No one can take it from you. And so where you invest that time becomes the most important decision you make every day.

When you pick up your phone, you decide what app to open. If you look at LinkedIn, Instagram, Facebook, X, all these different apps, they all operate simultaneously, but you can only focus your time and attention on one at a time. Sure, you.

You could have five screens open with all five on those screens, but even with that, your attention will only be on one at a time. You can't consume all five at once for any significant amount of time. And to me, that's the true value of time.

It's this idea that once we do something, it becomes written in history. Whether I like the way I lived on June 4, yesterday, 2024, or not, is completely irrelevant. Because it's written in history.

There is no changing it. And that's the beautiful thing about life. History is ours for the writing.

It is our choice how we show up. It is our choice what we do, why we do it, how we do it, and people miss that. History is written every day, and most of history is incredibly boring.

Think of all the big topics in history we talk about today. Think of the Revolutionary War, the Civil War, World War One, World War Two. Yes, you could spend hours talking about any one of them.

You could probably even spend days. But all of those events took years to unfold. Nothing happened overnight.

And what we focus on, talk about, explore. Now we're exploring it, because those were, in society's opinion, the most important pieces of it. Whether that's true or not is irrelevant.

The goal is to understand that when history is being written, which is each and every day, it's not fast. So, like, I look at my blog like a documentary, right? I'm writing a movie, or I'm. I should say I'm living a movie.

The difference between a script, a manuscript, a movie designed for a specific plot line and all of that is they spend years out. Months, years, whatever. I'm not a movie writer, so I don't know how long it takes to write movies.

But they spent time coming up with all these ideas and refining them and coming up with the script and the layout and all of that, which is what makes it curated, it makes it high quality and all of that. But all of that time, while that time's passing, a lot of other things are happening as well. That changes everything happening in the world.

And so that's why when I look at life, I look at life like a chessboard. I am a pawn playing chess with 8 billion other pawns. That's how about how many people are in the world, right? Every single individual on this planet operates independently of every other business individual.

So if everyone operates on their own accord, they're all doing what they believe is in their best interest, right? That's what each and every one of us does. So how do we get more of those pawns to operate towards a goal through time together? To me, that's what a leader of a country is supposed to be doing, is supposed to be consolidating the value of time of their people and driving that value in a certain direction to get better results for their people. And it all centers around how fast does the message change and how fast do you distribute that message to the people who follow you? It's speed to production.

That's why I believe the most scarce resource in the world is time. If you did not close a piece of business yesterday, you can never go back and close that piece of business. And there's 8 billion people on the world, in the world, so there's business to close.

It's just, how are we using our time to leverage that? And so that's why. That's why I do everything the way I do it is to leverage that time. Right now, it's almost 08:00 a.m.

wednesday morning, I'm driving to my first job. I've got my glasses on. I'm just talking to myself as I drive I'm sharing my thoughts and opinions and beliefs.

Whether anyone accepts those beliefs, believes those beliefs, agrees with me. All of that is irrelevant. I am still an individual, and I always will be, just like you will.

You will always be an individual, and so you will always have your own thoughts. That's why I do content every day. I do it every day because I believe the most important part of the first amendment of the Bill of Rights, the freedom of speech, the most important part of it is using it.

It's sharing your truth. And that's what my blog is. It's designed to be me sharing my truth, whether you like that truth or not, whether you agree with it or not.

All of that because you are entitled to your opinions 100%. But all of it is irrelevant because I'm sharing my truth. And I would love to hear your truth, but that is your choice if you want to share.

And I think a lot of people miss that. So if you think about our society today, you are not supposed to talk about religion and you are not supposed to talk about politics. And I believe one of the reasons why they keep society in general doesn't want you talking about those beliefs is religion and politics are two ways, two systems to control people, good, bad or indifferent.

Because at the end of the day, everything is set up so someone has control of something. And I think one of the reasons society doesn't want you talking about these topics is because when you really talk about these topics, you'll find out there's way more in common between all of us than not in common. We all agree very close to the same, we all believe very close to the same thing.

The difference is, how do we get there? Right? Because I don't think conservatives want people to be homeless. I certainly don't. I don't think liberals want people to be broke.

But the way we solve these problems is what everybody disagrees about. And because of that, that's how control is maintained. And I think the most powerful thing we could do as a society is learn to own our time.

Control our time. Because if you control your time, you'll control your destiny. May not happen today, but it will happen.

As long as you're willing to move and adjust and change your plans to create the vision of the life you want to live, then there's nothing in the world that can stop you. There really isn't. Because it's your time.

It's your lifetime to live. You get to make the choices of where you go, when you go, how you go, all of that. And it's freaking beautiful.

That's what I love about life. It is my choice to work at service experts, yes, they offered me the job, but I'm the one who gets up every morning. I'm the one who makes sure I'm where I'm supposed to be, when I'm supposed to be there.

No one else. It is my choice, just like it's my choice. Wherever I work, however I work, wherever I show up, it is all my choice.

Anyone can ask anything of me, that's their choice. But it's my choice how I respond. And a lot of people don't understand that the only person in the world who has any sort of control over my life besides me is my wife, Emily.

Besides that, anyone else can ask anything of me. And it's my choice how I respond. And even Emily asks, it's still my choice.

Due to our relationship and our history and everything, I am more inclined to accept and follow her rules. Which is honestly, that's one of the reasons I have not been creating much content in the past, is because Emily and I don't want to live the life of a streamer. We don't want to live the life of a content or any quote unquote influencer.

We want a normal life. We want to leverage. I want to leverage the tools that all of us have access to during that normal life to make an impact.

Which is why I do everything I do. I already have achieved the level of success that I aspire to achieve. I have three amazing kids and an awesome life.

Yes, I struggle. And I'm right now, I struggle a lot. But that is life.

And that's, to me, one of the most important things I'm showing and teaching my kids is that life is not rosy. It's not all fun and games. You're going to lose jobs.

People are not going to believe in you. You're going to have financial, financial struggles. This is all part of life.

And I'm glad my kids see me struggling because it will make them stronger, because they'll understand that struggling is not bad. It's not a bad thing not to know what's going on. It's not a bad thing to feel like you're stuck.

That's how life is. And that's okay. And so that's why I do everything I do is to be a role model.

I try to live my life as if it was a role play, to show people, hey, this is what I'm doing. To chase my dream as a father who is broke and struggling to put food on the table. Just because today's a struggle doesn't mean my whole life will be a failure.

And on what day should you wake up and assume that tomorrow is going to be worse than today? My opinion? Never. You should never assume tomorrow is going to be worse because at the end of the day you get infinite tomorrows until you have none and once you die you die anyways. Those are just some of my thoughts on this fine Wednesday morning.

I hope you guys are having a great day. If anybody needs h vac services home maintenance services, be sure to reach out to us at service experts. We are here to serve and I got my water guns.

If you are in Boise and reach out to TML ask for Justin. I'll bring my water guns. Your kids can shoot me.

It'll be great. So far kids have loved it. Anyways I hope you all have a fantastic day and we'll talk to you all soon.

Bye.
