In todays life update I want to talk about how important hope is to the equation. I have been struggling to get my life figured out and was losing hope that I could figure it out, but I always kept pushing forward because I knew that eventually something would fall into place. Well, it has finally happened. I have more hope now than I have had in quite a while. The first big thing that brought me hope was getting the manager in training position at Winco. I applied after only being at the company for 2 months, and didn't think much of it. Luckily, I didn't think too much about it because I am sure I could have talked myself out of applying. When I got the job offer two weeks ago, that give me an immense amount of hope that I will be able to get my life on the right track. It was a light in the dark for me. I have hope for growth and being able to advance within the organization and that is something that I have been missing. The second thing that happened is I met someone online that I align with really well. It made me realize how important it is to talk about the serious topics in life and make sure you are with someone who is on the same page. It is still very early in the relationship, but it gives me hope that there is someone out there for me. Hope that I won't spend the rest of my life alone thinking something is wrong with me. It only happened because I kept being myself and putting myself out there. Even when things were hard and I didn't want to. So I want to encourage you to keep going, even when you feel no hope at all, keep moving forward. By moving forward, you will find the hope you are missing!
Hey, Life with Justin Stephens community! Justin here, with a journal entry on a topic that's been anchoring me lately—the importance of hope in life's equation. As we document this journey through personal finance, success, business, sales, and marketing, today's update is personal: Sharing how I've been struggling but pushing forward, and how hope has reignited. Let's dive in.
I have been struggling to get my life figured out and was losing hope that I could figure it out, but I always kept pushing forward because I knew that eventually something would fall into place. So I want to encourage you to keep going, even when you feel no hope at all—keep moving forward. By moving forward, you will find the hope you are missing! Hope is the spark that turns struggles into steps toward your dreams.
These sparks remind me to stay grateful—for WinCo's opportunities, new connections, and the resilience to persist. It's all part of building a life of purpose.
Hope fuels resilience—in finance (pushing through tight budgets), business (applying boldly), and life (opening to connections). It's a reminder that persistence pays off.
