Every day presents new challenges and opportunities, and it's essential to take a moment to reflect on our journeys. July 25, 2024, was one of those days filled with insights, growth, and the realization of the importance of community. In this blog post, I'll share my experiences, thoughts, and lessons learned from that day, as I strive to make a difference in my life and the lives of others.

Morning Musings: A Reminder of Purpose

As the sun rose on July 25, I took a moment to appreciate the beauty around me. The morning was a gentle reminder that there is a greater purpose at play. I felt it was important to share this with others, emphasizing that there is a God who loves us unconditionally and has a plan for each of us. This message is not just about faith; it's about hope and connection.

Life is indeed a journey, and we are all in it together. My mission is to support and protect as many people as possible. This belief fuels my work at Secure Pacific, where I assist individuals in finding the right security systems for their needs. My goal transcends work; I aim to be a leader in my community and inspire change.

A Busy Day Ahead at Secure Pacific

On this particular Thursday, I was excited about the day ahead. It marked a significant transition as my colleague Matt, who had been training and onboarding me, was offboarding. While it was bittersweet, it also meant I had a lot to learn and accomplish.

  • Sales calls lined up

  • Opportunities to meet new clients

  • Implementing a digital sales process

Our approach differentiates us from other security companies. By building trust in the digital space first, we can transition smoothly to face-to-face meetings. This strategy excites me, as I believe it will lead to more meaningful connections and successful outcomes for our clients.

Embracing the Struggle

The morning sky was a reminder of the beauty of life, but I also recognize that life comes with struggles. Many people shy away from challenges, but I’ve learned that embracing them is crucial. The path forward often requires going through pain rather than avoiding it. This mindset allows for growth and resilience.

I firmly believe that every struggle we face is part of our personal journey. Acknowledging that we are responsible for our situations is empowering. The decisions I've made over the past 14 years have shaped my current reality, and while I could have made different choices, I accept where I am now.

Taking Responsibility and Ownership

Life is a series of choices, and it’s essential to own them. Whether we find ourselves in a favorable situation or facing challenges, it's crucial to acknowledge our role in shaping our lives. This accountability leads to empowerment, allowing us to take charge of our personal narratives.

As I reflect on my life, I encourage others to do the same. What changes do you want to see? How can you embody the change you believe is necessary in society? It’s essential to listen to yourself and act accordingly, rather than just following others.

Afternoon Reflections: Moving Forward

As the day progressed, I found myself contemplating my living situation. I had started the process of moving out and organizing my belongings. The weekend ahead promised to be busy, but I was determined to make significant progress.

  • Finding boxes for packing

  • Clearing out the remaining items

  • Preparing for a training trip to Seattle

Moving is often a reflection of change, and I look forward to this new chapter in my life. While it may seem overwhelming, I remind myself that everything is temporary—both successes and failures.

Life's Conundrums and Challenges

Life can feel like a conundrum at times, especially when faced with financial struggles and relationship challenges. Many people find themselves grappling with similar issues, and it’s important to remember that these situations are not permanent.

Success and failure are part of the journey, and comfort should never be the goal. Embracing discomfort and the possibility of failure is a key to success. This mindset is crucial, especially for those in sales or entrepreneurship.

The Transition to New Opportunities

As I prepare to move in with my parents temporarily, I recognize this as an opportunity for growth. It’s essential to navigate through life's challenges with a positive outlook. While I may be in a messy situation now, I know it’s a stepping stone toward something greater.

My journey is not just about the struggles but also about the connections I make along the way. If there's any way I can support others, I am here to serve. We are all in this together, and sharing our experiences can help us navigate the complexities of life.

Conclusion: The Power of Community and Change

As I conclude this reflection on July 25, 2024, I am filled with gratitude for the lessons learned and the connections made. Life is indeed a journey, and I am committed to documenting my experiences to inspire others.

In the end, it’s about being the change we want to see in society. I invite everyone to join me on this journey, to chase dreams, and to embrace the struggles that come our way. Together, we can create a supportive community that uplifts and empowers each other.

Thank you for being a part of this journey. Your support means the world to me, and I look forward to sharing more insights and experiences in the future.

Good morning. Good morning. Good morning.

I just wanted to remind you that there is a God out there, and he has a plan for you, and he loves you unconditionally. I hope that brings you as much joy and happiness as it brings me. Have a great day.

Life is a journey, and we are all in it together. On this journey, our goal is to support and protect as many people as we can. If you believe we can be the change that we need in society, I invite you to follow the life with Justin Stephens as we live life to do that change.

Good morning. Good morning. Good morning.

It is July 2015, 2024. There's our flag, guys. We got this, America.

It is a Thursday morning. I'm off to secure Pacific. It's gonna be a great day today.

Matt, who's been training me and onboarding me, I've also been off boarding him. Today is his last day, so we've got a lot to do today. A lot of different sales calls, a lot of different opportunities where I.

We're gonna be going and meeting people and helping them figure out. Figure out life, which is cool. So I'm looking for that.

Looking forward to all of that. There goes my water. Doesn't look like it's leaking, though.

Yesterday's sales call was awesome and a ton of fun. I'm really, really excited about what we're doing. I think it's going to lend its to a digital sales process really well, and I think I'll be able to pre sell for the entire organization.

How we work together, that what differentiates us from other security companies and then get them to book the first appointment online. And so we build a bunch of trust up front in the digital world. Then we transition them to sales call in the real world.

Oh, look at the sky. What a glorious day to be alive. It's beautiful.

It's beautiful, ain't it? I love life. It's a struggle, but it's my struggle. I'm excited to be alive.

A lot of people don't like this struggle. To me, that's part of the joy in life, is figuring out the struggle. It's the.

The path forward is through the pain, not around it, not over it, not under it, not waiting it out. It's just through it. You've got to get through it, to be through it.

And that's how I try to live my life. So I hope you look at life as an adventure. I hope you look at it as a journey that you're in control of.

And you get a dictate where. Where are you trying to go? How are you trying to get there? Because it is your choice. It's always your choice and always will be.

So own that choice. Own that responsibility. Own the fact that you are in a mess of your own creation.

No matter what that is or looks like, it's your fault. The mess I'm in, I've created it. The decisions I've made over the last 14 years have led to the point that I am at right now.

And I'm okay with that. Could have I done it better? Yep. Could have I done it worse? Yep.

I am where I am, though. And that's how life works. You may not like where you are, but you're there.

And the only way to get through it is to get through it. And so that's how I try to live my life, is with this understanding that we're going through it. Someday we'll be through it.

That day is certainly not today, probably not even going to be next week or the week after or the week after that. So, with all that said, I just want to empower you to have a great day, to keep living your dreams, keep chasing your dreams, and be the change you believe we need in society. Don't listen to me.

Listen to you. You're way smarter than I am. What change do you think we need? Go be that.

Go do that. How would the person who's changing our society in that way act? How would they operate? How would they show up every day? That's what you need to do. Don't do it for me.

Do it for you. Do it for your family. Do it for the ones you love.

Anyways, have a great day, everybody. We'll talk to you all soon. Good afternoon, everybody.

It is July 25, 2024. The day keep marches on, marching on. I got pretty much all my stuff out of the house.

Got a lot of knick knacky and food stuff left that I will get out this weekend. I. So my plan is, this weekend I'm gonna find some boxes, and I am gonna get as much done as I can.

Friday and Saturday. And, yeah, so I leave Monday for Seattle for a week for training, which should be amazing. I'm very much looking forward to it.

And then, yeah. So my hope is I'll be out of the house by this weekend. I'm sure there will be some stuff left to pick up and move around and whatnot, but gonna get all the big stuff done, get it goin life.

It is a conundrum, that is for sure. Oh, well. Oh, well.

This is just part of the journey. It will be an epic story that I will tell my grandkids someday. Epic adventure that one summer.

Which summer, you ask? Oh wait, all of them. It is a pretty insane world we live in right now. My heart goes out to all of you out there in similar situations as I am struggling and fighting with your spouse over money and don't know how to get on the same page and dig yourself out.

It's not ideal, but it's the life we live and it's only temporary. And that's what a lot of people forget. Everything's temporary success and failure.

So don't get comfortable. Ever. Never get comfortable.

I think that's one of the keys to success, is being willing to be uncomfortable, being willing to struggle and fail and fail again and again and again. That's why people don't want to be in sales. Sales is gateway drug to entrepreneurship.

Entrepreneurship for sure. But it is so much easier than true entrepreneurship because in sales, you're not. Yes, you are responsible for production, but you're really not at the same time.

Whereas when you run your own business, you are responsible for everything. And even when you hire people, you're still responsible for the results they get you and get your clients. So it is what it is.

Anyways, just wanted to give a quick update. I am. The goal is to move over to my parents tonight and start staying there while I work my way through this mess.

So anyways, have a great day. I appreciate each and every one of you. We're all in this together.

If I can ever support you in any way, please let me know. I am here to serve. With that said, good night.

Thanks for watching today's journal entry. The best way to support my work is by following, liking, and sharing the content I create on a regular basis. I appreciate you being on this journey through time with me and have a wonderful day.
