Life is an adventure! my new role as a variety Manager in Training has been going really well and I love it. Having normal hours, I work from 10:30 AM to 7 PM now, has been a blessing! It is nice to be on a normal sleep schedule again! I have been learning a lot about how we manage and take care of the stores and setting up a lot of holiday kiosks around the store. I've been stocking shelves and making sure we aren't running out of product. I also get to make sure the check stands are all stocked and ready to go for the day. It has been a fun learning experience and I am so glad to finally be building a career somewhere that I want to be. The people I work with are extremely nice and everyone wants to be there which is really cool. On a more personal note I have a date tonight with someone my cousin introduced me to which should be a lot of fun! I have started doing my blogs each morning before going into work, so I feel very accomplished starting off the day. I've consistently been doing blogs for more than 2 years now, and am getting better and better at the process. I feel like I am getting some traction with it, and I am very proud of the persistence I have put into this journey. It will be interesting to see where this all goes and the results of it over time. Overall, I feel very grateful for the life I have and what I am trying to accomplish with it. I want to encourage you to keep searching for the right fit and mission for your life. It keeps you going even when times are difficult.

This phase feels like alignment—stable hours fueling energy for blogs, career, and personal life. Persistence in blogging (2+ years!) mirrors WinCo's ownership—time invested compounds.
Adventures come from fit—in finance (ESOP growth), business (team passion), and life (connections/mission). Search for yours; it sustains through hard.
