WinCo Update: Embracing the Night Shift

My time at WinCo is going really well—I'm shocked at how much I'm loving the night shift! It's rewarding to see the progress we make each night: Stocking shelves, organizing aisles, and getting the store pristine for customers the next day. We work as a tight team, everyone pitching in to make it happen, and that camaraderie makes the hours fly. The sense of accomplishment at shift's end is huge—knowing we've set up a great experience for shoppers.

That said, I'm still working on getting a good schedule dialed in. Adjusting to the late hours means experimenting with sleep—napping during the day and winding down post-shift. It's a challenge, but the flexibility lets me handle my handyman gigs during "normal" hours, so it's worth it.

Handyman Hustle: New Client and Momentum Building

The handyman side hustle is also doing really well! I landed another client this week who needs work on a rental unit—organizing spaces, minor repairs, and getting it ready for tenants. It's awesome to see the business growing, and I love how it complements the night job. Providing value through hands-on results feels fulfilling, and the revenue is fueling my blog and online presence.

Personal Excitement: Life's Rewarding Turns

On a personal note, I've been talking to a girl, and it's been very fun and rewarding—excited to continue exploring the relationship. It's funny how things tend to work out the longer you give them time; patience is paying off in unexpected ways. Overall, I'm very excited for where life is taking me right now—the pieces are aligning.
