most people dont understand why I do the blog the way I do, and so I want to try and explain that today. This blog is what I am leaving my kids to learn about my life, and life in general. I don't want to give my kids everything I did get, I want to teach my kids everything that I didn't learn. This blog is the documentation of the lessons I am learning and the experience I am having through life. Do I think my kids will read every entry? Not at all. But if they want to, they have the history of my life as it went on. This blog is my inheritance for my kids. It is designed to be a place they can learn and grow. All of my insurances goes into this blog, all the assets that I accumulate throughout life will be owned by this blog. This blog will be how my kids access what I leave behind for them. I am guaranteed to die, which is why I believe this concept will work. Once I do die, the blog is funded by over $2,000,000 in death benefit. I am working with a close friend, Robert, who will be the executor of my estate. He has believed in this dream the longest and has been following along on the creation of this dream. He is a good friend and I have faith that he will carry out the vision of what I am creating after I am gone. In the future, the executor may change, but for now I have someone in place to carry on my legacy for my family. All of my kids will access my estate the same way that anyone off the street can access my estate, by being a subscriber to the estate. This is how we will change millions of peoples lives as life goes on. We will show them what we are doing and walk them through the steps we are taking to build something that will benefit more people as time goes on. This blog is designed to show people the path we are taking, and if they want to join us on that path they can through sponsoring the blog. This is the legacy I want to leave behind for the people that I love, and this is why I am so dedicated to the mission that I am on. Nothing can stop me, because I won't let it. Things may change as we learn and grow, but the underlying foundation and direction will always be the same. I've been on this journey for 3 years now, and that is the beauty of having a mission. It is something you wake up ready to work on regardless of the results you have gotten up until this point. I want to encourage you to find a mission and work it. Your mission is the guiding light that helps you make decisions about the future. Name that mission and chase it, because dreams will never chase themselves. I hope you have a great day and keep the faith!
Hey, Life with Justin Stephens community! Justin here, with a journal entry on why I do the blog the way I do—it's not just content; it's legacy. As we document this journey through personal finance, success, business, sales, and marketing, today's reflection is about leaving something meaningful. This setup ensures my kids inherit not just assets, but wisdom—transparent, accessible, and empowering. It's my way of changing lives, one entry at a time.
Legacy isn't money alone—it's knowledge and mission. In finance (structured inheritance), business (sustainable impact), and life (guiding lights), plan for what endures.
