April 21, 2024 - Embracing the Solo Journey: Understanding Life as a Single Player Game

Newsletter Sent out today:

Good morning! It's a beautiful Sunday morning on April 21st, 20124. I am currently at the amazing Boise Airport, getting ready to catch a flight to Dallas, Texas. I will be spending the entire week there, conducting training for Service Experts. I am super excited for this opportunity and it's going to be a ton of fun.

As I was heading out this morning, I couldn't help but reflect on the idea that life is a single player game. It has always been that way and always will be. You are the only person who has experienced everything you have gone through. You are the only one who thinks the thoughts you think. There's no way around it.

Understanding Life as a Single Player Game

This concept has been particularly challenging for me because I have always wanted to share my experiences and have others understand what I am trying to do. However, I've come to realize that no one else will ever fully understand because they haven't walked in my shoes. And that's okay.

Accepting that life is a single player game means coming to terms with the fact that people in your life may not understand what you're doing or why you're doing it. They may not comprehend your beliefs or your goals. But ultimately, it is their opinion, their life, and their choice. We must recognize this as a society.

The Importance of Goals

When we view life as a single player game, it becomes crucial to consider our goals and aspirations. Each year can be seen as a turn, and if we're lucky, we may have around a hundred turns in our lifetime. With this limited time, what are we trying to accomplish? And who gave us these goals?

Answering these questions requires introspection and a desire to seek the answers. Many different factors can influence our goals, but ultimately, we have the power to determine them for ourselves.

Make the Most of Your Turns

Understanding the concept of life as a single player game prompts us to make the most of the time we have. With each passing year, we have the opportunity to make a difference, pursue our passions, and create a meaningful life.

It's crucial to reflect on our goals and align our actions with what we want to achieve. We must seize the limited turns we have and use them wisely.

Conclusion

In conclusion, life is indeed a single player game. We are the sole players in our own lives, with unique experiences and thoughts. It can be challenging when others don't understand our choices, but it's important to remember that it is their opinion and their life.

We must take the time to define our goals and make the most of the limited turns we have. By doing so, we can create a fulfilling and purposeful life, regardless of whether others comprehend our journey. Embrace the concept of life as a single player game and live it to the fullest.

Good morning. Good morning. Good morning.

It is April 21, 2024. It is a beautiful Sunday morning. It is currently 530 in the morning at the amazing Boise airport, where I am on my way to hop on a flight to Dallas, Texas.

Texas. I'll be in Texas for this whole week running, doing training for service experts. I'm super excited.

It's gonna be a ton of fun. So we're just headed out. It's funny, this morning I've been thinking about life is a single player game.

It always has been and always will be. You are the only person that has all of your experiences. You're the only person that's gone through what you've gone through and thinks the thoughts you think, and there's no way around it.

And so understanding that, and this has been really hard for me because I want to do this with people. I want people to understand what I'm trying to do, but no one has yet. And that's okay because it is a single player game.

And it's getting to that point of understanding or accepting that people in your life will not understand what you're doing or why you're doing it or why you think it works or doesn't any of it, and it's there opinion. It's their life. It's their choice.

And so I think that's one of the big things as a society, we have to stop and look at is if life is a single player game, and if you look at every year as one turn, you only have, what, a hundred turns? If you're super lucky. So what are you trying to do with those turns? What is your goal with the time you have and who gave you the goal? How did you determine the goal? There's so many different questions that can be asked and answered, but you have to want to seek the answer. So that's just something I've been thinking about this morning.

Anyways, I am excited to take you with me on this trip, and we will talk to you all soon.
