This week, I’ve been thinking about what it takes to make things happen—specifically, the combo of taking action, prospecting, and sticking with it long enough to see results. It’s not always flashy, but it’s where the magic lives. Let me tell you a quick story to paint the picture. Imagine a guy named Sam, a prospector back in the gold rush days. Sam’s got a hunch about a spot by the river—nothing fancy, just a gut feeling. Day one, he’s out there with his pan, sifting through mud, finding nothing but rocks. Day two, same deal. His buddies laugh, telling him he’s wasting his time, the gold’s long gone. But Sam keeps going. He’s not just splashing around—he’s learning the current, studying the sediment, tweaking his approach. Day ten rolls around, and there it is: a glint of gold. Not a jackpot, but enough to keep him going. By day thirty, he’s got a steady haul—not because he got lucky, but because he took action, kept prospecting, and gave it time to work. That’s the lesson I’ve been mulling over: action and prospecting are only half the game—perseverance seals the deal. Whether you’re chasing a dream, building a project, or hunting for opportunities, it starts with showing up. Prospecting isn’t glamorous—it’s digging, testing, reaching out, trying again. It’s sending that email, making that call, or sketching that idea when no one’s watching. And the kicker? You’ve got to give it time. Results don’t always come on day one—or even day ten. But every move you make stacks the odds in your favor. Sam didn’t strike gold because he was the smartest or the strongest—he did it because he didn’t quit. He trusted the process, adjusted as he went, and let time do its thing. We can do that too. Whatever you’re working on, take action today—prospect a little. Reach out to one person, try one new angle, or put one idea into motion. Then keep at it. The gold’s there, even if it’s buried deep. Here’s my challenge for you this week: pick one thing you’ve been meaning to start or push forward. Take one small action—send the message, make the plan, dig in. Then commit to giving it a few more swings before you judge it. I’d love to hear what you’re prospecting for—reply and let me know! Keep digging. The glint’s coming. Until next week, Justin PS - I have a weekly update that I will include on my dreams below, this is something I have been doing personally for more than 2 years now, and it is my guiding light for how I make decisions and decide what I want to be doing and chasing. I am on a journey to document the true value of time. I am doing that through writing my own documentary on my life on X. By subscribing, you will be seeing behind the scenes on how I believe we as a society can collapse time and take care of each other better.
This week, I’ve been thinking about a concept that’s a game-changer for anyone looking to grow a business or make an impact: the value ladder. It’s not just a buzzword—it’s a roadmap that shows you exactly where you’re taking your clients and how to get them there, step by step. When you know the path, you can guide people with purpose, building trust and delivering value at every turn. Let’s break it down using my blog as an example. A value ladder is like a staircase—each step offers more...
As we head into Memorial Day, I’m taking a moment to pause and reflect on the incredible sacrifices made by the men and women who’ve served to protect our country. Today isn’t just about barbecues or a long weekend—it’s about remembering those who gave everything so we can live freely, safely, and with hope. The courage of our service members is humbling. They leave behind families, comfort, and certainty to stand on the front lines, facing challenges most of us can’t imagine. Some return...
This week, I had one of those moments that stops you in your tracks and fills your heart to the brim. I went to my daughter’s dance recital, and let me tell you, it was pure magic. Watching her and all those kids up on stage—twirling, leaping, beaming with pride—was more than just a performance. It was a front-row seat to the future, learning, growing, and shining right in front of us. There’s something so powerful about spending time with the next generation. Whether it’s your own kids,...
